Embodied Eros Facilitator Training by Dance Meets Tantra

Master the art of holding transformational space and become a walking transmission of your purpose through dance, eros, and embodied relating.

A 6-month professional training that certifies leaders, coaches, and ritual artists in trauma-informed group facilitation, expands your leadership capacity, and equips you to facilitate Dance Meets Tantra and your own life-changing offerings.

The Embodied Eros Facilitator Training by Dance Meets Tantra is for the leaders, catalysts and prayer-holders.

The revolutionaries who feel the music in their bones and know the dance floor is the most important temple.

You’re already a permissionary, the one who makes it okay for others to feel more, to express more, to live more. The one who opens the door to aliveness, connection, and eros in your community.

This is the training you don’t come back from. An initiation into becoming a living, breathing transmission, someone who can weave dance, connection, and sacred ritual into containers that open hearts, awaken bodies, and awaken souls.

Dance Meets Tantra is putting out the call to a select few revolutionaries: come deeper into the work.

Step into your power. And carry this flame into the world.

Rooted in the Dance Meets Tantra methodology and enriched by trauma-informed facilitation, relational intelligence, shadow work, group dynamics, ritual arts, embodiment practices, and field awareness, this training invites you to step fully into the role of transmitter and space-holder, grounded in your unique voice and natural expression. If you choose, you can also walk the path of becoming a Certified Embodied Eros Facilitator.

Through a potent mix of in-person retreats, bi-weekly online transmissions, 1-1 mentorship, deep peer support and practice, and a supervised practicum, you will gain the tools, support, and experience needed to guide others through life-changing journeys of self-discovery and embodiment. The training provides a structure for integration, feedback, and growth while honoring your unique voice and path.

By the end of the training, you will have developed the capacity to:

  • Read and work with a living group field — sensing shifts in energy, coherence, resistance, readiness, and momentum, and adapting your facilitation in real time.

  • Design transformational experiences that actually move people — using sequencing, ritual, dance, relational practice, intensity, spaciousness, and integration to create powerful arcs.

  • Stay present when the room gets charged — with emotion, attraction, conflict, projection, uncertainty, erotic energy, resistance, or the unexpected.

  • Lead from embodied authority — trusting your body, your voice, and your perception enough to intervene when needed, get out of the way when needed, and stop relying on a script to tell you what to do.

  • Work skillfully and responsibly with Eros — including desire, attraction, touch, polarity, power, consent, boundaries, and relational responsibility.

  • Navigate difficult group moments with greater skill — including activation, rupture, shadow, interpersonal tension, and repair.

  • Create from your own transmission — taking the principles and craft you’ve learned and applying them to the workshops, retreats, rituals, communities, and bodies of work that are uniquely yours.

  • Recognize deeper patterns shaping a group — including projection, attachment dynamics, personality patterns, and survival strategies so you can respond to what is truly happening underneath the surface.

The goal is not simply to give you more tools. It is to make you a more perceptive, embodied, trustworthy, creative, and powerful facilitator.

Hear from Participants of Embodied Eros

“This training helped me finally cross the threshold of creating soul-aligned offerings in the world. I ran my first Sacred Edge workshop after Module 1 and have since run three more. I’m landing a real capacity to lead embodied dance journeys and rituals, and I feel the impact through the results happening in my life’s work. I loved this program, it was one of the best I’ve attended, and I’ve been to many dozens of retreats and programs.”

-Edmond Lau

“This training changed how I understand facilitation. I moved from a doing-oriented approach toward trusting who I am being in the room, my embodiment, presence, and attunement. I have more trust in my body’s wisdom, more capacity to hold discomfort without fixing it, and more confidence that when the unexpected arises, I can stay present and know what to do. I launched new offers, enrolled new clients, raised my rates, and stepped into facilitating larger groups with a groundedness I didn’t have before.”

-Steph Shinabery

“Before the training, I was the girl standing against the wall when the music started, terrified of being seen and terrified of doing it wrong. Now I have much more capacity to let myself be moved, express myself, and command a room. I trust that people will follow me, that I deserve to facilitate these spaces, and that this isn’t just a fantasy. I’ve also built an incredible capacity to feel deeply without collapsing or losing myself.”

-Kristen Davis

“I leave this training feeling more in my center than I ever have. I feel in direct relationship with my power, ready to take a stand for what I believe in and create from that place. My relationship with charge has completely shifted, I can work with it instead of collapsing under it. The training isn’t separate from my life anymore; it has seeped into every area of it. I feel my spine strongly and feel like I’m fully standing in who I am.”

-Soraya Masi

“I’ve had more practice facilitatingI have a huge amount of trust in my ability to pull something off. Any moment that I got to lead was impactful and an update to my known capacity.

It was an incredible program. I loved that it was five months long rather than, say, a week-long container. The integration meant it wasn’t just transforming within a temple, but truly making room for the expansion to exist in the real world.”

-Dan Jedynak

“I feel more at home in my core than I ever have and much more capable of rising into leadership. I’ve developed the ability to flow with facilitation rather than getting stuck in my mind or needing external validation. There was a moment while I was facilitating when the energy was really moving and someone called for Spencer. Spencer checked whether I needed him, and I answered ‘No’ from a place of deep trust. I now trust my ability to hold a container from a grounded, present place.”

-Danny Presencia

Curriculum Overview

Please see the details below of each level of the program

Part 1: Embodied Eros Intensive

In-person training takes place January 13–18, 2027 | Boulder, Colorado

The Embodied Eros Intensive is a six-day transformational deep dive into embodiment, relationship, erotic integrity, and the deepest truths of who you are.

If you let it, this is an embodiment training experience that you don’t come back from. Not the “you” that existed before. Your sense of self, your sense of what is possible, and your capacity to express, connect, and relate as the deepest truth of who you are.

The Intensive is the most profound personal immersion currently offered within the Dance Meets Tantra ecosystem, and the foundation on which the Embodied Eros Facilitator Training is built.

This is an invitation to step outside the pace, identities, and strategies of ordinary life and enter a sustained field of embodied inquiry alongside people who are equally committed to meeting themselves honestly.

Through a potent blend of dance, ritual, relational practice, nervous-system awareness, attachment exploration, inner-child work, emotional truth, desire, expression, shadow, and the living intelligence of Eros, you will explore:

  • your capacity for embodied freedom and aliveness

  • the patterns shaping your relationships and intimacy

  • your relationship with desire, power, boundaries, and authentic expression

  • the places where your history still organizes your present

  • the deeper purpose and transmission seeking to move through your life

We believe the foundation of all trustworthy leadership and facilitation is embodiment. Before we can guide others into deeper truth, freedom, and transformation, we must become more capable of inhabiting those places ourselves.

Although we refer to this as Level One, it is not beginner-level work.

The Intensive attracts experienced practitioners, leaders, facilitators, creatives, and devoted students of emdbodiment and transformation who sense they are on the verge of a more integrated expression of their purpose, power, and aliveness.

You do not need to want to become a facilitator to attend.

This experience is complete in itself. You may choose to stop here and leave with a powerful set of tools for life, love, purpose, community, and personal growth.

It is also a pre-requisite for anyone desiring to train with us as embodied eros leaders and facilitators.

PART THREE: Embodied Eros Practicum & Certification

A three-month supervised pathway toward certification taking place Fall 2027

For graduates who want to take their training into the world, Level Three is where learning becomes real-world practice.

It is a powerful opportunity to truly integrate what you’ve learned. After six months of training, the cohort has built trust, shared language, creative momentum, and a powerful group field. Rather than just ending, the Practicum gives you three months to stay connected deeply connected to the field, keep practicing, receive support, and continue to bring what you’ve learned into your actual life and work.

Over three months you will:

  • Design and facilitate a real-world offering that reflects the work you want to bring forward

  • Receive group and 1:1 mentorship, supervision, and feedback

  • Stay connected to the peer field as you take creative and professional risks together

  • Refine your facilitation through actual practice

  • Submit written reflection and video documentation for assessment

  • Demonstrate competency in embodied, relational, and transformational facilitation

The Practicum is not about reproducing Embodied Eros exercises. It is about translating what you have learned into work that is authentically yours.

Certification is earned through demonstrated competency, embodiment, ethical integrity, leadership, and real-world application, not simply through attendance or completion.

Successful candidates receive the designation Certified Embodied Eros Facilitator, representing our professional endorsement that we have witnessed your facilitation and are willing to stand behind your foundational capacity to bring this work into the world.

What We Actually Train:

Great facilitation is more than knowing good exercises. It is the capacity to meet what is actually happening, work intelligently with the energy in the room, and create the conditions for a group to become more alive, connected, and coherent

Throughout Embodied Eros, we train seven interconnected territories:

Meet the Faculty

  • Close-up portrait of a smiling man with light brown hair and beard, wearing a black sleeveless top, against a blurred green background.

    Spencer Jacobson

Co-Founder of Dance Meets Tantra & Attachment Alchemy, Program Director & Lead Faculty of Embodied Eros

Spencer Jacobson is a facilitator, leadership consultant, coach, and visionary creator with more than 13 years of experience guiding groups, supporting purpose-driven leaders, and developing brands that shift the culture.

People often find Spencer at moments of soul initiation: times when an old identity, path, or way of living is no longer enough, and something deeper is asking to be listened to. Much of his work is devoted to guiding people through these initiatory thresholds, especially as they step more fully into their power, trust the innate intelligence of their bodies, and bring forward the work, leadership, and life that feel most authentically theirs.

He is the co-founder of Dance Meets Tantra, a body of work bridging conscious dance, relational intimacy, Eros, ritual, and transformational facilitation, and Attachment Alchemy, a school dedicated to community-based somatic attachment repair and secure relating. He also co-founded Emergence Brotherhood and previously founded Guided, which supported thousands of business leaders around the world through coaching and leadership development.

Spencer’s work draws from ontological coaching, Internal Family Systems, developmental psychology, craniosacral therapy, conscious dance, functional movement, sacred sexuality, men’s work, meditation, contact improvisation, and other somatic and embodiment practices.

Within Embodied Eros Facilitator Training, he teaches embodied leadership, field facilitation, dance shamanism, transformational experience design, group process, ritual and practice design, and working skillfully with relational and erotic charge.

His deepest intention is not to create facilitators who imitate him or Dance Meets Tantra, but to help people become more fully themselves, listen more deeply to what their lives are asking of them, and bring their own distinct bodies of work into the world.

    Atilla Cidam

    Co-Founder of Dance Meets Tantra

Atilla Çıdam is a transformational guide and facilitator devoted to unlocking the ecstatic intelligence of the human spirit.

With a PhD in social psychology, Atilla spent years designing large-scale systems to support human flourishing. His deeper education came through the initiatory path of descent—through sacred medicine, the wild edge of dance, heartbreak, tantra, temple arts, kink, and the fierce love that shatters illusion.

He works with individuals, couples, and communities who are ready to live from the raw, unfiltered center of their being where eros, purpose, and truth converge. His containers rewire the nervous system for intimacy with life itself.

Atilla is a faculty member with ISTA, the International School of Temple Arts, and co-founder of Dance Meets Tantra and Emergence Brotherhood.

What People Say About Our Faculty

“Having taught Tantra for over 30 years, I know when a container is pristinely created and held and was impressed with how Spencer & Atilla built and held it.”

~Evalena Rose (Founder - Alchemy of Love & pioneer of the neo-tantra movement)

Smiling woman with curly gray hair and blue eyes outdoors with a green background.

"Spencer's facilitation manages to create profound emotional depth, sexiness, playfulness, gentleness and permission to go wild, all in a single day. His facilitation is both incredibly skillful and overflowing with devotion for the magic he's bringing to the world."

~Brian Basham

A man with dark hair smiling outdoors on a beach with the ocean and a cloudy sky in the background.

“From the very first time I experienced Rachel’s in-person training, I felt drawn to return to her work. She combines warmth, playfulness and deep humanity with an extraordinary ability to sense what is happening in the room. Rachel teaches the importance of working with emergence, and I have witnessed her embody this beautifully in real time, responding intuitively to what is alive while holding the space with clarity and purpose. She doesn’t simply teach techniques; she helps others discover their own authentic way of facilitating the relational field. My experiences with Rachel have been powerful, moving and genuinely transformative.”

~ Lee

Atilla is an incredible facilitator, who is clearly comfortable with erotic material to its edges even in the more challenging realms as death. His teachings and guided practices on many aspects of dying, letting go of our limitations to meet the fullness of ourselves and Reality are brilliant. His balance of containment/structure and mostly flow/allowing was heavenly. It was a rare treat that he bested any compulsion/habit/expectation to do the usual things in rote ways (like introducing ourselves), thereby always birthing something alive, true and juicy! Also in a lovely balance, he could allow what was, while simultaneously pulling the group into more depth of experience - sometimes with simple reminders like eliminating chit chat, other times with powerful invitations to really actually touch and meet resistance that keeps us from Wholeness. Incredibly done! Highly recommended deep inner work! ~Jen G, Sex Therapist, Sonoma Country, CA, USA

“The way Spencer beckons people to step in is quite special, and I felt it really opened the field of possibility. Your pacing as you spoke and facilitated was fantastic--allowed breath, feeling, rest. Some of the best pacing I've seen in facilitation, truly.”

~ Susan Coates (Somatica Institute Faculty Instructor)

"Spencer's facilitation is ON POINT. Raw, real, potent, and just as human as the rest of us."

~Erica Shapiro

"From the very first time I experienced Rachel’s in-person training, I felt drawn to return to her work. She combines warmth, playfulness and deep humanity with an extraordinary ability to sense what is happening in the room. Rachel teaches the importance of working with emergence, and I have witnessed her embody this beautifully in real time—responding intuitively to what is alive while holding the space with clarity and purpose. She doesn’t simply teach techniques; she helps others discover their own authentic way of facilitating the relational field. My experiences with Rachel have been powerful, moving and genuinely transformative.”

~Lee James, Facilitator

“I have been working with Rachel for nearly a year now with the Field Facilitation training and also assisting on Intimacy Camps. I can hands down say her work is at the leading edge of understanding our potential for Intimacy and Community as Humans. Her Training and insight are meticulous and her work gives me hope about the future of facilitation. I highly recommend this work for those wanting to uplevel their skills.”

~ Niall Graham, Facilitator and Coach

“Don’t believe the hype. Rachel’s radiance isn’t in the curated pages or impeccable footage of presence in action- it is in her voice, her touch, her eyes, all telling you to run toward the edge where self-led transformation becomes both exquisite and real. I entered her Facilitation Training wanting to embody watertight authority and trustworthiness; instead, I emerged with a tender nervous system… able to distinguish what was truly helpful from what was historical and habitual and from that tenderness, resilience naturally grew. Rachel translates the spirit of homecoming into relevant practical skills and newly attuned nervous systems: sensitive, responsive, learning to trust again, and able to help others recognize what healing feels like. She does not lead from above, but from within the field itself, embodying a fierce, feminine leadership devoted to the clean transmission of supporting others on their paths of transformation. This is what I have experienced, repeatedly, in her care.”

~ Peneleapaí, Indie artist, keynote speaker, and proud graduate
